I must admit I am truly addicted to chewing gum!! Sometimes I don’t have a chance to eat before I head into work and I work around people at such a close range, I don’t feel like cursing them with my stinky starving breathe
I’ll buy a pack of gum and just chew on it for most of the evening. Now is like I’m hooked on the dam stuff I can’t stop chewing aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Anyway………..I was noticing last night on my ride home from work which is usually around 11:45 pm, how many crazy ass people live in NYC. There isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t see a person doing something out of this world. From the moment I walk out of my little apartment door, walking down three blocks to the train station, while waiting for the train, riding on the train crossing from the Bronx into Manhattan, getting off of the train, in the train station, walking out of the train station, walking a few blocks in Manhattan, entering my job, exiting my job, grabbing something to eat at Mcd’s, while I eat at Mcd’s, walking back to the train station, in the train station, waiting for the train, and on the train, and back home to my apartment.
Its a little too much for me sometimes, but I guessed I’ve just gotten use to it being that I’ve lived here now for about 4 years. However on Tuesday was the first time in my life, I had ever seen a person literally cross the subway tracks to get to the other side in my life!!!! I usually never stare because that tends to cause fights, but this lady who was on the opposite side of the tracks jumped down into the train tracks picked up her bags, and crossed the dangerous, dirty, sewage, rat infested train tracks to get to the otherside. The woman could of been electricuted!!!!!!! or hit by on on coming train !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just couldn’t stop staring it was like I was a deer struck in bright headlights I just couldn’t believe she did that!!
