sleeping through Hurricanes

So…. It turns out that last night there was a major thunder and lighting show at about 3 am.  The windows we’re rattling .. just an all out Zeus like thunder bolt show outside, yet somehow I DIDNT’ HEAR ANY OF IT!!!  Instead I was passed out in bed, which is usually odd most of the time i’m a light sleeper and any little sound wakes me up. From my dogs barking and running right down to them farting… spewwwww.  

What was funny though is I had decided to take a nap when I came home from work today I was in desperate need of some sleep…..

a few hours passed and all of sudden I wake up … it had been raining outside so it looks as though its early in the morning, I checked my phone …8:15 holy crap!!  I pretty much crapped on myself because I thought i was super late for work I popped out of bed running to the living room freaking out trying to get dressed. For some reason when I’m in a rush the animals love to make it difficult and follow me around lol 

Finally I realised its still TUESDAY!! hahah and its the evening … whew the good thing is I didn’t run out trying to get to work to be there, I would of really felt stupid! lol …   Actually when I was a kid my brothers thought it was funny to play a practical joke on me. My oldest brother Eric works late in the evenings, I had gone to bed and was a bit tired… for some reason Eric thought it would be funny to wake me up ..shouting ” GET UP GET UP YOUR LATE FOR SCHOOL HURRY!!! GET UP !! HURRY GET UP KARINA YOUR SO LATE FOR SCHOOL!!!!” he kept shaking me and yelling at me to get up … so sure enough I get up complaining about how fast time flies by and I can’ t believe its already time for school, I reach for my back pack and I start to head out the door by then both of my brothers are hysterically laughing at me. ( gotta love big brothers grrr)  I was so upset that I couldnt’ help but laugh it off lol. Luckily he brought me my fav. donut and tossed me back in bed lol.

Don’t be fooled by their cuteness here in this pictures because at 4 am they are running around the apartment at top speed like a wild herd of buffalo. You have to wonder how can two small cats make SO MUCH NOISE!!  I have been up since 6:30 am thanks to them, hopefully I can go back to bed at some point and sleep. I don’t have much to blogabout really…so I thought why not through in one of those dorky surveys…..

 

OHHH and I remembered as a kid waking up early on Saturday mornings, I used to want to watch the Saturday morning cartoons usually they had the best cartoons on but, my parents never allowed me to watch t.v on Saturdays .  It had to deal with religious reasons which I thought at the time was a big load of crap I don’t think the lord was going to strike me with a lighting bolt for wanting to watch Xmen on Saturday mornings, especially the  Phoenix saga they always showed all the dam time but never got to watch the whole dam series!!  sorry I went off on a tangent   lol ……………..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Let’s start it off with, are you available? NO I  am not available. Are thereany stressful situations in your life? I wouldn’t say its stressful but, I would like the finanicial problems to get better quickly. Do you enjoy late night phoneconversations?Sometimes it really depends on how I feel, If I’m tired then you’ll most likely be having a one sided conversation lol Do you have any pet fish? No I don’t I use to however, but they belonged to my father. Fish are cool! Do you go to the bathroom with the door open or closed?At this point I actually do both, but I mainly like my privacy however my pets seem to have to visit me when I am in the bathroomits a tad bit annoying lol Do you dancein the car? I use to back in Los Angeles or when I’m in the car with Ruben and Shammmie we tend to turn it into a rave then use our cell phones as glow sticks woooooooooo! Have you ever thought you were gonna die? yes i think about 3 or 4 times, first time is when i was drowing as a child, 2nd time is when I fell down a flight of stairs, 3rd time is when the car spun out andalmost fell off the freeway bridge, and the 4 time was when I was on a flight back to NYC and there was so much turbulanceI thought for sure the plane was going to crash.  How do you feel about girlssmoking? I have no problems with it, I’m a bit of smoker myself but I try very hard to not pick up the habit. Do you get along more with girlsor guys? guys, however I just realised they have to be a certain type of guys because I can’t seem to have the patience for very “wussy, spoiled or bratty” men.   My father andbrother’s are manly men so I’m use to being around men who are uber macho yet nice. Way tooooo Early…

Usually I’m never up at 7 am since I have a habit of being a night owl at times, majority of the time when I’m up this early is because my lovely little cats find it to be a great time to run around the apartment at top speed knocking over everything in their path. After a few yells of “HAVIK !!!!”  or ‘ MOUSIE STOP!!!” I figure oh what the hell and just get up… So here I am up typing on the computer along with being just a tad bit cranky. 

                  I just recently finished a drawing I was working on, I was hoping to use to some water colors to add some color but, I didnt have that much money so I had to make due with what I had. I’m still trying to figure out about in depth details, perception, shading and all that  drawing goodness.

          I started on a new sketch, its not completely finished yet I still have to add in extra detail but I NEED THE FREAKIN RIGHT PENCILS TO DO IT!! MY HAND IS KILLIN ME lol.  I need some sleep I’m going back to bed for a small nap. yay nap time. :D
